-The FIRST Robotics Chesapeake Regional Competition

Dorchester County Students Explore Ocean Observing Systems Activities
On September 29, thirty-seven ninth grade students participated in COSEE Coastal Trends Ocean Observing Systems activities at Horn Point Laboratory. The students examined real time data transmitted from various ocean observing system buoy networks and also collected their own water quality data in the field.

Anne Arundel County sponsoring two events: STEM Magnet Showcase at North County High School on November 5 and Homeland Security Signature Showcase at Meade High School on November 18.

December

Garrett County, Southern Middle Lego team has won the Chairman's Award for the third consecutive year and will represent the Pittsburgh region in the United States Championship in Dayton, Ohio in May. Pictures are attached.
