Barbara has been teaching and coaching all over the world for 20 years. She earned a BS and MA from the University of Rhode Island. In between degrees, she surfed professionally on the east coast and in Hawaii. She holds teaching credentials in Maryland, Rhode Island, California, and the Department of Defense Schools in Europe. Barbara has served on accreditation and selection committees, coached track, basketball, softball, and surfing teams. She is currently teaching advanced placement physics.
