WHAT: Education leaders from around the State of Maryland and three countries, will celebrate International Education Month during kick-off that showcases international curricular programs and teacher exchanges in fine arts, social studies, and world languages in Maryland and around the world. International education gives citizens insights into the cultures of the people of the world, as well as builds lasting relationships, and provides an opportunity for cross-cultural interaction and learning in schools, colleges, and communities. More than 100 students representing Maryland public schools will attend.
Governor Martin O’Malley has declared the month of November as
“International Education Month.”
